Ralph Steadman Exhibit at The Red Lion Inn

South County Overnight Construction Operations on I-90

LEE, Mass. — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) announced that crews will be conducting overnight hour line striping work and median pier protection, barrier installation and pavement marking operations on I-90 eastbound and westbound in Becket, Otis, Lee, West Stockbridge and Stockbridge.    The work will be conducted at various times and locations from Monday, Aug. 14, through Friday, Aug. 18. CHP Berkshires is On the Road with New Mobile Health Vehicles

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. — The CHP Berkshires Mobile Health Team is bringing more health care and food security to Berkshires with the addition of two new mobile health vehicles.    A third, a mobile dental clinic, is on the way.   These new rolling health care vehicles and their clinical staff were introduced on Thursday, Aug. 10, 5-7 p.m., at the Southern Berkshire Chamber After Hours Event at Crissey Farm, hosted by CHP Berkshires. Tree Identification Walk in Lower Bowker's Woods

Great Barrington Opens Mid-Year CPA Funding Cycle

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. — The Great Barrington Community Preservation Committee (CPC) will hold a special "off-cycle" funding round for organizations with projects that meet CPA funding criteria.   Organizations must demonstrate to the CPC that their projects are "shovel-ready" and that funds are urgently needed.
