Softball, Baseball Winter Vacation Camps Offered

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- The Infield Berkshire Baseball Academy is offering winter vacation day camps for baseball and softball players aged 8 to 12.   The baseball camp will run from 9 a.m. to noon on Feb. 19 and 20. The softball camp is 9 a.m. to noon on Feb. 21 and 22.   The cost is $50 per day.   The camp will focus on basic offense and defense skills. Campers are asked to bring a snack, indoor shoes, glove and bat.   The Infield is located at 10 Lyman St.   To register, email theinfieldbba@gmai.com.

He earned his law degree from Western New England University Law School and was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 2011. STOCKBRIDGE, Mass. — One of the county's most exclusive hotels is not completely closing this Valentine's Day.    But the owners of Wheatleigh, L. Transit Survey Seeks Feedback on TriTown Connector

Great Barrington Fire Department Responds to Manville Street Fire

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. — At approximately 8:51 p.m. Tuesday evening the Great Barrington Fire Department (GBFD) was dispatched for a 911 call reporting a person yelling "fire" at 4 Manville St.   Police cruisers arrived on the scene and found fire in a wall and below the floor of an apartment above a storage garage. Officers evacuated the building as Great Barrington Engine 3 was arriving.  Fire units found smoke in the garage space, and apartment, and coming from the eves of the multifamily apartment building.   Great Barrington Car 2 requested a first alarm. Alleged Drug Dealer Charged in Great Barrington

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. — On Thursday, Jan. 25, the Great Barrington Police Department and the Berkshire County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant for 47 Grove Street in Great Barrington and Jonah Christianson.    Upon execution, law enforcement recovered approximately 146 grams of cocaine that was located within the residence and approximately $1,868.   The combined worth of the street value of the drugs and cash and credit recovered from the residence totals $16,618.   All subjects involved in the execution of the investigation were detained in the Great Barrington Police Department.   Jonah Christianson was held on $50,000 bail.
