 GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. — Maya Velasco and Bailey Carlson have been named valedictorian and salutatorian, respectively, of Monument Mountain Regional High School's class of 2022. Graduation will take place at 1 p.m. on Sunday, June 5, at Tanglewood in Lenox. Velasco is the daughter of Zhivago and Marcie Skowron Velasco of Lee.  SHEFFIELD, Mass. — Mount Everett Regional School is proud to announce that Nadia Makuc has been named valedictorian and Grace Makuc has been named salutatorian of the class of 2022. They will graduate at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 4, during ceremonies at Tanglewood in Lenox.  LEE, Mass. — Emma N. Puleri and Emma S. Puntin have been named valedictorian and salutatorian, respectively, of Lee High School's class of 2022. Graduation ceremonies will take place at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 4, at the Koussevitzky Music Shed at Tanglewood. Puleri is the daughter of Richard and Michele Puleri of Lee. She is a member of the National Honor Society, student government, class steering committee, and the soccer and basketball teams.  GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. — Fairview Hospital, an affiliate of Berkshire Health Systems (BHS) in Great Barrington, has been named one of the 20 highest-ranked critical access hospitals (CAHs) in the country as determined by the Chartis Center for Rural Health and announced by the National Rural Health Association (NRHA). Christine Zecker served in the Army for nearly a decade, including working in a specialized psychiatric unit. LEE, Mass. — Christine Zecker served her country in Army as a sergeant from 1989 to 1998. She enlisted on Halloween night at 21 years of age and was sent to basic training at Fort Jackson, S.C., where she was platoon leader for her class. "It was the first real basic training, on the verge of war. Lots of people went AWOL or had breakdowns. We were in lockdowns with newspapers and media outlets.
