ADAMS, Mass. — Police have charged a registered sex offender with supplying drugs and alcohol to underage individuals as young as 13.
According to a press release on the Adams Police Department's Facebook page, officers the incident occurred Wednesday and the arrest made at the man's Park Street apartment, where he was hosting a party.

ADAMS, Mass. — An Adams man is dead after a bizarre incident in which he was mortally wounded when a good Samaritan tried to save him from a dog attack.
The name of the victim is being witheld pending identification by the Chief Medical Examiner's Office and notification to the next of kin.
According to a statement from the Berkshire district attorney's office, the responding police shot two aggressive dogs outside an apartment on Bellevue Avenue and found a man with a fatal crossbow injury inside the apartment and an unharmed child in a nearby room.

ADAMS, Mass. — A North Adams man was arrested over the weekend for the armed robbery of the Mobil Gas Station on Dec. 26, 2019.
Detective Michael Wandrei worked alongside members of the Berkshire County Law Enforcement Task Force, and patrol officers of the Adams Police Department to secure an arrest warrant for the man on the charge of armed robbery.
He was arrested by members of the State Police in Springfield and will be held pending arraignment in Northern Berkshire District Court.

ADAMS, Mass. — A possible hostage situation that lasted more than three hours ended around 7 p.m. on Tuesday with one person in custody.
According to a statement by the Adams Police Department, the report of a possible domestic violence/hostage situation on Notch Road was called in about 3:30 p.m.
The Adams Police Department activated the Berkshire County Special Response Team, and called for additional assistance from the state police and the North Adams Police Department.

ADAMS, Mass. — Adams Police had a busy few days that included pursuing a man who ran from a traffic stop and arresting a teenager who drove a truck into a house.
The first arrest was made Friday morning just before 1 when an officer attempted to stop a silver Mercedes on Columbia Street after running its Connecticut plates.
The plates came back as suspended/revoked, according a press release from the Police Department, and the registered owner of the motor vehicle had had the right to operate suspended.
