Basics of Development, offered twice (also February 20), is for staff, board and volunteers new in development or who just want a refresher.
February 6 , the workshop is held at Berkshire Community College, South County Center, 343 Main Street, Great Barrington, MA 01230
- Learn where money is given in the US
- Explore the many sources of funding for which your organization might be qualified
- Discuss the roles of the board, the staff, the volunteers
- Address specific concerns of the participants

WINTER FARMERS MARKET

Berkshire Grown's last two farmers markets of the season will be held at Monument Valley Middle School, featuring the freshest locally grown and produced foods and gifts, including fruits and vegetables, cheeses, meats, breads, preserved foods, and grilled sausages. Admission is free and SNAP/EBT and HIP accepted at all markets. The first 50 visitors to the market who bring along a first-time shopper will receive $10 to spend at the market. These market bucks help support local food and farms by increasing sales and maybe introducing them to new customers.
