PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Grace G. Banister, 45, of Pittsfield, Mass., passed away April 6, 2018, at Berkshire Medical Center. 

She was born December 5, 1972, in Pittsfield, the daughter of Kenneth and Rita Keinath Sour Jr. Grace was a 1990 graduate of Taconic High School. 

She married Lloyd A. Banister. She worked as a paralegal for many years and then for Terry O’Brien, Insurance Adjuster. 

She loved her family, and was a patient person who remained strong throughout her illness, and who was never known to complain. 

Besides her parents, she leaves her husband Lloyd; two sons, Austin L. Banister of Lanesborough, Mass., and Holden J. Banister of Pittsfield; her daughter, Kristen L. Banister of Pittsfield; a granddaughter Ariah; and stepdaughter Ashley M. Banister of South Carolina. 

Funeral notice: Calling hours will be held Saturday, April 14, 2018, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Dery Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date in Pittsfield Cemetery.
