Michele Beaulieu, 68

April 22, 2022

PITTSFIELD, Mass. —  Michele Elaine Beaulieu, 68, of Pittsfield, MA died on Friday, April 22, 2022 at her home.

She was born in Pittsfield, MA on May 15, 1953, a daughter of the late Louis Albert and Ruth "Bunny" (Tillotson) Beaulieu.

Michele resided for approximately 67 years in the home that her parents established residence in shortly after they were married. Born and raised, she continued her life and started her own family in her childhood home. It was this home that she took her last breath, the home where she literally imprinted her first and last steps.

Michele was educated in Pittsfield at St Mary’s Elementary School and St. Joseph’s High School where she graduated in 1971. She earned her degree in Early Childhood Education from Berkshire Community College.

Michele was employed as a pre-school teacher for over 40 years at Berkshire County Head Start until her retirement in 2018. Her dedication to her 3 to 5 year-old students yielded a profound and positive impact on many that she taught and worked with.

In her later years while at Head Start, Michele worked part-time at Strawberries, a record store in Pittsfield, where she enjoyed being immersed in music which many can attest was her most prominent form of self expression. Live or recorded, particularly rock, she took great pride in her collection of LP’s, 8 Tracks, cassettes, and CD’s.

Michele was also employed part time at Woman of Wands.

Michele treasured her feline “purr” babies; most recent: Odin, Luna, and Andromeda. They proved to be comforting companions and “sat” by her daily like royalty on a throne.

Most adored and cherished of all were her 2 grandchildren whom she exclaimed were “my heart and my loves.” After she had passed, her grandson, Jaden beautifully stated: “now she has what she’s always wanted…to be with us all the time.”

Michele leaves her daughter, Tisha Miller and husband Jasen of San Antonio, TX and two grandchildren, Jaden Lee Miller and Hana Marie Miller, neohew William Parent and niece Anne Lorenz and her husband Brad and their son- great-nephew Chad.  Her sister, Mary Shirley Parent is deceased.

Sadly, Michele is gone from this physical world but her time on earth can remind us that physical and material is only temporary. A loving heart, spirit, and soul are what truly lasts forever.

May Michele Rest In Eternal Peace with love and peace in her heart, spirit, and soul.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Calling hours for Michele will be on Monday, July 18, 2022 from 4:00-6:00 PM at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-BENCIVENGA FUNERAL HOME, 5 Elm St. Pittsfield, MA. Burial will be private.
