PITTSFIELD, Mass. —  Jason P. Lavigne, 47, of Pittsfield, passed away Saturday, September 30, 2023 at his home after a long battle with kidney disease. Born on September 14, 1976, son of the late Paul Lavigne Sr. and Irene Sears Hathaway. He attended Adams schools.

Jason made his life long career in carpentry and had been employed by several local contractors. He is predeceased by his partner Tiffany Bednarz with whom he shared his beloved 12 year old daughter, Sadie Lavigne of Pittsfield. Sadie was Jason's greatest joy and most important aspect of his life in his final years. He is also survived by two brothers, Paul Lavigne Jr and his wife Traci of Lanesboro, Michael Lavigne of Williamstown, three nieces and one nephew. Besides his mother he is also survived by his stepfather David Hathaway.

Services and burial will be at a later date at the convenience of the family.
