Patricia A. Wheeler, 80

March 28, 2024

PITTSFIELD, Mass. —  



Patricia Ann Wheeler, 80 of Pittsfield, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2024 at Craneville Place in Dalton.



Born in Pittsfield on October 30, 1943, she attended local schools.



She married Jim Richard Wheeler on July 5, 1966. He predeceased her on June 19, 2008.



Mrs. Wheeler was primarily a homemaker but at one time had been employed for Mobil Gas Station and Polymatrix.



She enjoyed crocheting, volunteering at the agricultural fairs and spending time with her grandchildren.



Patricia is survived by her children, James R. Wheeler and wife Myia Gaulden of Pittsfield, Tonya M. Wheeler and husband Ricky Reynolds of Pittsfield, Linda Cunagin and husband Kevin Oswald of Adams, and Hanley Palmer, Jr. of Stephentown, NY; her niece Missy Meyer and husband Bryan McMillan of New Lebanon, NY; as well as her beloved grandchildren, Calob Cunagin, Tobias Gaulden-Wheeler, Savanah Wheeler, Gavin Gaulden-Wheeler, Sienna Reynolds and Quinn Gaulden-Wheeler.



Besides her husband she was predeceased by her son William Palmer and her sister, Linda Manco.



Calling hours will be held, Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to HospiceCare in the Berkshires in care of the funeral home.

Pat was such an important member of the Adams Agriculture Fair agricultural for many years. She was always willing to help out and we enjoyed her friendship.

I am so, so sorry to hear of Pat's passing. I got to know her through my Dad , Hervy Ostiguy, from North Brookfield. She was a wonderful, kind person and I know how much she loved her family. My thoughts and my prayers are with all of you at this most sad and very difficult time.
