|Berkshire BPW Woman of Achievement Raises $27,890|

RICHMOND, Mass. — the Berkshire Business & Professional Women's annual fundraiser raised $27,890 at the Woman of Achievement Gala the largest amount to date.
The Gala was held Monday, Sept. 21 at Balderdash Cellars in Richmond and the celebration was continued online, available on the BBPW YouTube Channel.
All proceeds of the event go toward the BBPW Career Advancement Scholarship Fund. This fall, BBPW is proud to announce its largest awarding to 24 applicants, who are pursuing degrees and certifications. Scholarships awards ranged between $500 -$1,000 each.
The Berkshire Business and Professional Women organization meets year-round providing professional and personal development as well as networking opportunities for working women from diverse fields.
Also, District Attorney Andrea Harrington was honored as the 2020 Woman of Achievement.
For 55 years, Berkshire BPW has been honoring a local woman for her achievements and commitment to the community. Past recipients include such community leaders as Gwendolyn VanSant, Patricia Begrowicz, and Kristine Hazzard.
