A sunny 60 degrees on Main Street in North Adams.

Dare we say spring has arrived in the Berkshires?

As this is written, it is 60 degrees in North Adams but folks can expect a high of 67 degrees. People in Central and South County can expect similar temperatures.

According to Accuweather, more sunny weather can be expected with some possible record-breaking temperatures that have already hit the Plains states. Temperatures are estimated to continue trending upwards with temperatures hitting 70 degrees on Thursday, 73 degrees Friday, and 74 degrees Saturday In North Adams.

It will be a little cooler in Pittsfield with temperatures only hitting the high 60s throughout the week.

In Great Barrington, Temperatures will also be in the high 60s with a week high of 72 on Saturday.

Steve Caporizzo said temperatures are 10-15 degrees above normal this week.

Come Sunday, folks can expect some rain (for those May flowers) and cloudy skies. Temperatures will dip into the 50s.

We here at iBerkshires.com are hesitant to call the snowy season completely over. Maybe it is safe to put away the snowblower, but we suggest keeping those shovels handy, just in case.
