GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. — The town has promoted Jackie Dawson to the position of assistant town treasurer.

 

She has been working in the office of the town Department of Public Works since 2017 as an administrative assistant.

 

Dawson has a bachelor's degree in communications from the State University of New York at Albany and lives in Hillsdale, N.Y.

 

She will now report to Town Collector/Treasurer Alicia Dulin, who joined the Town Hall staff earlier this year.

 

"We thank Jackie for her years of service helping to run the DPW office in town and look forward to working with her in this new position in Town Hall," Town Manager Mark Pruhenski said.
