GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. — Berkshire South Regional Community Center's (BSRCC) second annual Welcome Summer Festival will be held at the community center on Saturday, June 4, from 11am to 4pm, rain or shine. 

 

The outdoor event (indoors, if the weather is inclement) is free to attend and meant for the whole family. Additional activities will be available for a small charge, and all income earned will support Berkshire South's Community Programming.

 

"The festival is an opportunity for the community to come together to ring in the summer season," according to Jenise Lucey, Executive Director of Berkshire South. The day's events include a bounce castle, petting zoo, dunk tank, face painting, arts & crafts vendors, food truck, photo booth, and more. "Last year's festival was just a joy – it provided a safe opportunity for friends and neighbors to come together and have fun and to celebrate summer in the Berkshires, which is just a glorious time of year. We wanted to provide that opportunity again after what has been another tough year for many people."
