LEE, Mass. — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing that crews will be conducting nighttime and daytime paving, guardrail, and bridge repair work at various locations on I-90 eastbound and westbound during the week of Monday, Aug. 19, through Friday, Aug. 23.

 

Lane closures will be in place during the construction operations, and traffic will be able to travel through the work zones. The schedule for the work and lane closures is as follows:

 

Otis/Blandford

Paving operations will be conducted on I-90 eastbound from mile marker 21.0 to 26.0 from Monday night, Aug.  19, through Thursday night, Aug.  22, from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. the next morning. The work is expected to conclude by 6:00 a.m. on Friday, Aug.  23.

 

Bridge work will be conducted on I-90 eastbound and westbound at mile marker 22.5 from Monday night, Aug.  19, through Thursday night, Aug.  22, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the next morning. The work is expected to conclude by 5:00 a.m. on Friday, Aug.  23.

 

Stockbridge/West Stockbridge

Bridge and guardrail work will be conducted on I-90 westbound from mile marker 2.0 to 4.5 from Monday night, Aug.  19, through Thursday night, Aug.  22, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the next morning. The work is expected to conclude by 5:00 a.m. on Friday, Aug.  23.

 

Bridge and guardrail work will be conducted on I-90 eastbound from mile marker 1.0 to 3.0 on Thursday night, Aug.  22, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. on Friday, Aug.  23.

 

Bridge repair work will be conducted on I-90 westbound from mile marker 5.5 to 6.5 from Monday night, Aug.  19, through Thursday night, Aug.  22, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the next morning. The work is expected to conclude by 5:00 a.m. on Friday, Aug.  23.

 

Bridge repair work will be conducted on I-90 westbound from mile marker 2.0 to 3.0 on Thursday night, Aug.  22, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 23.

 

Lee

Bridge repair work will be conducted on I-90 westbound from mile marker 10.0 to 11.0 from Monday night, Aug.  19, through Wednesday night, Aug.  21, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the next morning. The work is expected to conclude by 5:00 a.m. on Thursday, Aug.  22.

 

Stockbridge

Bridge repair work will be conducted on I-90 eastbound and westbound at mile marker 7.2 on Monday, Aug.  19, and Wednesday, Aug.  21, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

 

West Stockbridge

Bridge repair work will be conducted on I-90 eastbound and westbound at mile marker 0.6 on Tuesday, Aug.  20, and Thursday, Aug.  22, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

 

Appropriate signage, law enforcement details, and messaging will be in place to guide drivers through the work area.

 

Drivers traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.
