STOCKBRIDGE, Mass. — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing various construction operations on I-90 eastbound and westbound for bridge painting, bridge repair work, and tree trimming.
The work will take place from Monday, Dec. 16, through Friday, Dec. 20, during the following scheduled hours:
Becket

Bridge painting will be conducted on I-90 eastbound and westbound at mile marker 18.4, utilizing lane closures, from Monday night, Dec. 16, through Thursday night, Dec. 19, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. the following morning., with work concluding by 5:30 a.m. on Friday morning, Dec. 20.
West Stockbridge/Stockbridge

Bridge repair work will take place on I-90 eastbound from mile marker 3.9 to 6.5, utilizing lane closures, from Monday night, Dec. 16, through Thursday night, Dec. 19, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. the following morning, with work concluding by 5:30 a.m. on Friday morning, Dec. 20.

Bridge repair work will also occur on I-90 eastbound from mile marker 0.8 to 3.0, utilizing lane closures, from Monday night, Dec. 16, through Thursday night, Dec. 19, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. the following morning, with work concluding by 5:30 a.m. on Friday morning, Dec. 20.

Tree trimming will be conducted on I-90 eastbound from mile marker 0.0 to 10.0, utilizing shoulder closures, from Monday, Dec. 16, through Friday, Dec. 20, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day.

Guardrail repair work will take place on I-90 westbound at mile marker 3.0, utilizing lane closures, on Friday, Dec. 20, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Drivers traveling through these areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.
Appropriate signage and messaging will be in place to guide drivers through the work areas.
